Because the department has a very large number of medium-sized companies whose daily work arrives in writing, and because this is where we are every day. Those are the only two reasons, and the second matters as much as the first.
On the first point, public figures are enough to describe the field. INSEE, France's national statistics institute, counted 93,673 economically active legal entities in Val-d'Oise in 2024, and 25,665 businesses created in the department in 2025 alone (INSEE, full report for department 95, tables DEN T3 and DEN T1, page published in August 2026). The department's economic development agency, CEEVO, counts more than 150 business parks covering nearly 3,000 hectares, including 21 that each host more than one thousand employees. We draw no promise from these figures: they simply say that many companies of the size we serve are here, and they are not in central Paris offices.
On the second point, we do not claim to understand a small business better because it is twenty minutes away. What proximity changes is narrower and verifiable: we come to see the task at the workstation, and we make corrections on site during trial operation. This is explained on the AI agent agency in Île-de-France page.
